Refund and Returns Policy

At Clad It (Cladit Investments Limited), we take pride in our handmade African products and want you to love your purchase. Please review our policy carefully before initiating a return or exchange.


1. Eligibility

  • Returns/Exchanges Accepted Within: 14 days of delivery

  • Condition Requirements:

    • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and undamaged

    • Original tags and packaging must be intact

    • Proof of purchase (order number) required

Non-Returnable Items:

  • Custom/made-to-order pieces

  • Final sale items (clearly marked)

  • Products damaged due to improper care


2. How to Initiate a Return/Exchange

  1. Email [support@claditinvestments.com] within 14 days of delivery with:

    • Your order number

    • Product name and reason for return

    • Photos if claiming a defect

  2. We’ll respond within 48 hours with:

    • Approval/denial of request

    • Return instructions (if approved)


3. Return Shipping

  • Customer Responsibility:

    • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility

    • We recommend using a trackable shipping method

  • Exceptions: We cover return shipping if the item is defective or incorrect


4. Refunds

  • Processing Time: 5-10 business days after we receive your return

  • Refund Method: Original payment form

  • Deductions: Shipping costs are non-refundable (except for defective items)


5. Exchanges

  • Available For: Size exchanges (subject to stock availability)

  • Process: Follow standard return steps and specify desired size

  • Alternative: We may issue a refund if exchange isn’t possible


6. Damaged/Defective Items

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos

  • We’ll provide a free return label and either:

    • Send a replacement (if available)

    • Issue a full refund


7. International Returns

  • Customers are responsible for:

    • Return shipping costs

    • Any customs/duties fees

  • Refund amounts exclude original shipping charges


8. Final Notes

  • Handmade Variations: Minor imperfections (stitching, dye variations) are inherent to artisan products and don’t qualify as defects

  • Sale Items: May have different return terms (see product page)
